Dr Manase was lecturer in Construction Economics and Infrastructure Finance at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland, UK for more than 14 years. He taught on the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying; BSc (Hons) Construction Management and MSc International Project Management programmes. He also led the MSc Quantity Surveying programme. Prior to this, he was visiting lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. He has worked as a quantity surveyor for various contractors and consultants on various projects in the UK, South Africa and Zambia. Notable among recent projects include the Thames Water Alliance, one of the biggest contracts in the UK water industry history. Another notable project was Hinkley Point C - Nuclear Power Station in Somerset, UK. The project involved the construction of two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing lowcarbon electricity. Dr Manase was also researchlead for Infrastructure Investment Finance and Asset Management Research Group at The Research Centre for Built Environment Asset Management (BEAM Centre), Glasgow Caledonian University. Dr Manase has also been external examiner at various universities and has supervised and examined various BSc, MSc and PhD research. He is also a scholarly reviewer of various journals.
