His portfolio has a range of projects he worked for as a PI or Co-PI within education, petrol & gas, buildings and smart cities, infrastructure (rail, port, and airport) and the ICT sector. He is a certified PRINCE2 expert with a PhD in Construction and Project Management (University of Salford, UK). He is a certified BRE ISO19650 Trainer with working experience as an academic – researcher – consultant and project manager – trainer in relation to digital construction engineering and project management/leadership in the European Union, United Kingdom, United States of America, China, Indonesia, and the Middle East.
Dr Georgios is a Member of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Member of the British Computer Society (MBSC), awarded with prizes in relation to Innovation in the Built Environment and Leadership, belongs to the National Think Tank for Materials and Devices Scientists in China and is a member of China Technology Entrepreneurship Association in Beijing. His work was recognised and published in world international leading Journals, Books and Conferences Internationally. During his career has won several prestigious National and International Awards and Prizes related to Innovation in Construction and was recognised for his contribution to Zhejiang Province, China, with the Prize of “Cultural Ambassador” during the COVID-19 period. Last but not least, he has two patents that its status is pending in China.
Currently, he is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at Oryx Universal College, in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, in Doha, Qatar, whilst is a Visiting Professor (Research) in Digital Transformation at the Ningbo Institute for Supply Chain Management, MIT Global SCALE in China, and in Management Information Systems in the College of Business at the University of Northern Iowa (USA).
