MSc Cyber Security

Cyber security is the practice of protecting computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious digital attacks. Cyber attacks are usually intended to access, destroy and change sensitive information; sometimes for financial or political gain, with the aim of disrupting the usual processes and lifestyle of users.

Our MSc Cyber Security programme enables students and professionals from information technology related backgrounds to engage in a process of research, analysis and practice through the use of effectives tools and techniques central to security issues surfacing within the communication and information systems framework globally.

Admissions criteria

You will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Computing or related subjects with (minimum 2:2 classification/ 2.0 CGPA)
  • Work experience of 2 year in a relevant field will be expected
  • Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent
